On Saturday evening October 13, 2018 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched at 1811to an auto accident in the 800 unit block of South 1st Ave in South Coatesville Borough.

Chief 37 (Dowlin) was first to arrive with one car over an embankment that appeared to have struck the building, he reported all patients out.
Upon further investigation the car went through the guide rail and came to rest just before striking the building.

Engine 37-1, Engine 37-3, Ambulance 37-1, and Traffic 37 all made the response.

Traffic was cut to one lane until it was decided that a bigger tow truck would be needed, at that time the road was closed totally during the vehicle recovery operation. Westwoods Traffic 44 assisted on closing roads.

All units remained on scene until 2015 hours
