On Wednesday June 19 2019, The Chester County Department of Emergency Services hosted the Summer 2019 Firefighter 1 graduation at The Chester County Public Safety Training Campus.

This class is 172 hours which provides a person with the basic knowledge and skills required to function safely and effectively as a member of a fire suppression team.

Members of the active crew attended the graduation to congratulate Firefighter Rohit Goswamy on officially graduation from the Firefighter 1 Program.

Firefighter Rohit as the guys call him joined the company at the end of 2018, he chose this summer program as it worked best with his collage and work schedules, this summer class is a little different then the normal Fire 1 offered in the county as it is Monday thru Friday during the day.

Firefighter Rohit attended this class while juggling collage finals and working, not an easy task for anyone.

We would also like to congratulate Firefighter Anthony Trento, Firefighter Trento joined the company while taking the class and plains to also run active with us as well as his home company West Bradford.

The officers and members of the Modena Fire Company would again like to congratulate Firefighters Goswamy and Trento and the entire graduating class.
