Late Wednesday night June 26 2019 at 2353 the Modena Fire Company was alerted to assist the Thorndale Fire Company on a working house fire at 3530 Hazelwood Ave in Caln Township.

Upon crew’s arrival they assisted with multiple different fire suppression tactics, one crew want interior to the 3rd floor another went to the roof to ventilate.

Modena crews and multiple other agencies worked together on this stubborn fire after working for several hours the fire was finally placed under control and crews began to overhaul and look for any hidden pockets of fire.

Modena units cleared the scene and returned to station for clean up around 0345.
