On Sunday December 8, 2019 Santa stop by the fire house to asked for a ride to the Annual Modena Festival of Lights.

Santa climb aboard Engine 37-3 and took the short ride to the Modena Borough building and park, awaiting him at the event were some very excited children.

Santa got off the truck and was immediately greeted by some kids who escorted him to a small house that was decorated for him to sit and listen to the children and some adult Christmas wish list.

After listing to everyone wish list, Santa got to judge a ugly sweeter contest, which was won by a little girl with a Rudolph sweeter on (see photo below).

Guest were provided cookies, hot chocolate and could stand around the fire socializing.

To top off the event Santa himself showed off his electrician skills (he's had some future practice LOL) and lit up the Christmas tree and the Menorah that will remain lit in the park through the Christmas season.

We like to Thank the Borough for inviting us to this event we had a great time and we wish you all a safe and happy holiday season.

Santa himself will be returning to the fire company on Christmas Eve for his annual fire truck ride through our coverage area between 3 and 6pm
