On Monday evening December 30th crews reported to the station to surprise Firefighter Rohit Goswamy.

What Rohit thought was a mandatory training was actually a going away party for him. Rohit is leaving this coming Saturday for San Antonio Texas where he will be going to school and studying medicine in his quest to become a doctor.

Firefighter Goswamy joined the company in 2018 and quickly became an beneficial member of the active crew, during his short time here he completed several classes including his Nation Firefighter 1 and over this past year ran 70 plus fire calls.

All members in attendance had a hand in this surprise and a very nice dinner was had by all.

The officers and members of the company would again like to wish Rohit the best of luck in his future endeavors.
