Engine Company Assist East Brandywine on Working Dwelling

On Saturday May 2, 2020 the Modena fire company was alerted at 1531 to assist the East Brandywine Fire Company on a confirmed working dwelling fire on Reeceville Road in East Brandywine Township.

Chief 37 and Engine 37-2 (crew of 5) made the immediate response, Engine 37-2 was the second engine in and laid a 5in supply line from the back entrance of Brandywine hospital, After laying their 1000 ft of supply line crews went to work assisting 49 crews on fire suppression.

Engine 35 finished the supply lay securing water to the scene. Engine 37-1 (crew of 4) arrived on scene and it manpower reported to to the manpower pull in front of the structure.

A good aggressive attack by all involve made quick work of this incident, the fire was placed under control at 1557

Following overhaul and wrapping up the supply line, Modena units cleared the scene at 1715
