On Friday afternoon July 17, 2020 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched at 1745 to a reported auto fire in the 900 unit block of South First Avenue in South Coatesville Borough.

With the dispatcher receiving several call placing the incident on Mill property the ArcelorMittal Fire Department (Station 75) was also alerted.

Chief and Assistant 37 arrived on scene shortly followed by Engine 75 with a car well involved, Firefighter 75 deployed a hand line and Chief 37 took his pump, the fire was quickly extinguished, Engine 37-2 and Rescue 75 arrived and their crews assisted on opening up the car and secured the batteries.

A few minutes later Rescue 75 was alerted of a second incident in the mill and immediately responded. Crews got Engine 75 back in service and released them, Modena crews remained on scene until Fire Marshal arrived and finish their investigation.

All units cleared the scene at 1905
