| On Saturday August 28 201 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched along with the Westwood Ambulance and Medic 93 out of Brandywine to an reported ATV accident on Buck Run Road in East Fallowfield Township.
Medic 93 made the response and with the initial information give to them over the MDC (Mobile Data Computer) immediately placed air medical on standby. Chief 44 and Medics arrived on scene and advised County to fly the Helicopter, Chief 37 assumed landing zone officer and immediately made contact with Skycare 1 which was already hovering above. Ambulance 44, Tac 37 and Traffic 37 all arrived on scene and their man power hiked equipment into the scene.
One ATV ride lost control of their ride and took a hard fall the rider was packaged on the bike trail and transported in the back of a pickup truck to the awaiting Skycare 1 at the front of the property.
The patient was transported by air to a trauma center, All Fire and EMS units returned available. |
