This morning of April 21, 2017 the Modena Fire Company was alerted at 0832 to an auto accident reported serious on the 1200 block of Youngsburg Road in South Coatesville Borough. Also dispatched was Rescue 44.

Crews were standing around station after just clearing another call 15 minutes earlier, Engine 37-1 and Ambulance 37-1 made the immediate response.

Units arrived on scene and found one vehicle accident v/s parked truck. Battalion 37 reported no entrapment one to be checked and recalled Rescue 44. The driver was attended to by EMS and later transported to a trauma center.

Crews directed traffic around scene while awaiting on tow trucks and police.

Fire units cleared the scene at 0903.
