Early Morning Accident in Borough and Engine Assist Ambulance in East Fallowfield

In the early morning hours of September 3, 2017 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched at 0300 to a reported auto accident at North Brandywine Ave and Lloyd St in Modena Borough.

Ambulance 37-2 was on scene at 0303 reporting one v/s pole with occupant appearing to have fled. Engine 37-1 arrived and crews started debris clean up. The road was closed between Woodland and Union.

Peco notification was made to Chester County Fire Radio regarding the split telephone pole.

While crews were awaiting the tow company our neighboring ambulance company Westwood upgrading their medical call to a cardiac arrest and asking for assistance alerting station 44, Chief 44 was contacted and our assistance was offered, Engine 37-1 made the response per Chief 44 to East Fallowfield Township to assist Ambulance 44-1.

Engine 37-1 cleared the assist and then returned to the accident, all units cleared the accident at 0344.
