In the volunteer fire service one thing that never ends in training.

On this Thanksgiving Weekend multiple members gave up their weekend to attend Pumps 2 class. These members took the Pumps 1 class back in October and this weekend would conclude their pumps training.

Saturday was 8 hours of class room going over formulas, and learning water in, water out. On Sunday they put what they learned on Saturday to work hands on, pumping from hydrants to relay engines to pump aerial waterways.

Also attending the class were members of the Thorndale, Key Stone Valley, Christiana, and East Whiteland Fire Company’s.

We like to thanks the instructors from Bucks County, also Arcelormittal Plate for use of the property and the Coatesville Fire Department for use of Ladder 41-1.
