On Sunday Evening April 1, 2018 the Modena Fire Company was alerted to assist the Westwood Fire Company for a dwelling on the 500-unit block of Doe Run Road in the Westwood section of East Fallowfield Township.

Additional callers reported a generator on fire next to the residents with exposures.

Engine 37-1 with 5 made the response followed by Engine 37-2 with 6, Engine 37-1 was the first unit to arrive and deployed a 1 ¾ handline to extinguish fire. Engine 44-5 and Engine 37-2 arrived minutes later and their crews assisted Engine 37-1.

Crews made quick work of the incident and all units cleared a short time later.
