On Sunday afternoon June 24th around 1512 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched to a reported gas leak at the Columbia Gas station on Fairview Road in East Fallowfield.

Engine 37-1 and Engine 37-2 made the response, Chief 37 arrived and could hear gas leaking from a 10x10 building on the property. Crews made access to the building and confirmed a small leak in a valve.

Columbia gas was contacted and a service tech responded from York, Pa., Fire crews stood by for almost 2 hrs awaiting the gas company.

The scene was turned over to Columbia gas once they arrived and all units cleared the scene at 1708.
