It with great pleasure the Modena Fire Company announces the purchase of a 2018 Pierce Enforcer Engine.

In the July monthly meeting members discussed the need to replace a truck and upgrade the fleet in years. This new truck was a demo engine by Pierce and was a great price and this opportunity was all about timing.

A decision was made to replace the 2001 KME Engine upgrading our fleet 17 years. This is the first new engine purchased by the company since building the 2001 KME.

The new Engine 37-2 will be undergoing some upgrades and getting lettered and tool mounting done at Glick Fire Equipment in Lancaster.

The in service date is expected to be mid to late September.
