On Friday July 27, 2018 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched at 1238 along with multiple mutual aid companies to a reported out building fire at 47 Woodland Avenue in the borough of Modena.

Captain 37 (Reason) was first to arrive on scene reporting a shed well off with exposure to the house. Engine 37-1 was ordered to take the driveway and stretch a line. Engine 44-5 arrived and supplied Engine 37-1 with water.

The assignment was scaled back to Modena, Coatesville, and Westwood units. Crews worked to overhaul the debris and check the house for extension.
All units cleared the scene at 1350
