At the grave side service his daughter gave a very nice eulogy talking about her dad's different loves and passions. During the service people had a chance to spend Chief Dowlin spoke about Connie wisdom and passion for the company and how Connie set us up for the future, he talked about the 1989 international engine that was dedicated to Connie and how Connie was so proud of that truck, and lastly he thanked the family for allowing us to be part of their family for so many years and sharing Connie with us.

Through out the day we got to have some great conversation with Connie wife Joyce, son's Connard and Bryan, and daughter Teresa, they all shared some great memories of being around the fire house with there husband/dad . All were extremely thankful that we showed up and brought the new engine, they keep saying he would have loved it.

At he family request the crew departed the cemetery in Engine 37-2 with light and siren's in a final tribute to Connie.
