On Monday afternoon March 2, 2020 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched at 1523 to a brush fire at 855 Doe Run Road in East Fallowfield Township.

Chief, Brush and Engine 37-2 all made the response, FM 47A went on scene reporting 100x100 spreading.

Chief 37 arrived and established Doe Run Rd Command, requesting ATV 44 to the scene. LT 36 called command advising 36 had crews for ATV and Tanker if needed, Command advised county to add them both.

Brush 37 and ATV arrived and started to work the perimeters to contain the fire, Engine 37-2 arrived and deployed 1 3/4 hand lines.

Ambulance 44-2 was added and evaluated a resident with smoke inhalation.

The Fire was placed under control with all units work a short time later.

All units cleared the scene around 1715.
