On Sunday evening just after 8pm the Modena Fire Company was dispatched along with several other departments to assist Thorndale Fire Company on a reported house fire in the 100blk of Schoolhouse Ln.

Initial reports from the caller were that the smoke was coming from the upstairs windows of the residence. Chief 6 was in the area and confirmed a working fire on the second floor of the residence.

Engine 37-2 with crew of 6 made the response, Assist Chief Bryant arrived and was placed in charge of water supply by Deputy 38, Engine 37-2 arrived and crews reported to man power.

The fire was quickly knocked down and incident placed under control, Engine 37-2 was placed available on scene to cover the area.
