The Modena Fire Company was dispatched for a brush fire in the 2100 Block of Strasburg Road. Deputy 37 arrived to find a large uncontrol burn extending into the field and woods. Brush 37 arrived onscene and began extinguishment. Additional apparatus was dispatched to assist from West Bradford, Po-Mar-Lin, and Westwood. Multiple brush trucks and ATVs arrived and began assisting Brush 37 with extinguishment. 6 units were placed in service around the brush fire to stop the fire from spreading. Engine 37-1 arrived and laid multiple feet of 3 inch supply line through a field to Tac 44. Engine 39-1 arrived and staged at the bottom of the driveway due to access issues and began supplying the multiple brush trucks that were in service. Tanker 36, Engine 44-5 supplied multiple gallons of water to the engines to keep the operation in service. Fire was placed under control at 1225 hours. Crews performed overhaul and began cleaning up supply line. Final units cleared around 1500 hours.
