On Wednesday September 22, 2021 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched to assist Westwood at the Allen Myers Asphalt Plant in East Fallowfield for a reported structure fire.

Engine 37-2 with 4 made the response along with Engine 44-5 they were advised the plant was reporting a fire in the hot oil system believed to be contained but has a natural gas line 5 ft away.

Units arrived and worked together to access and extinguish the fire.

Units remained on scene for some time cleaning up.
