On Monday evening November 22, 2021 Crews gather for the weekly training at the station around 6pm, this weeks training was the first of several to come on our newest purchase of Res-Q-Struts to complete Engine 37-1 to a rescue equivalent engine.

This evening training was provided by MES Rescue Specialist John Sileski, John started out with very simple techniques and uses of the struts and over the next few months will continue with more technical uses including lifting of vehicles.

Although the struts are on Engine 37-1 with all other rescue tools it will not receive it equivalents until all active member have been trained on the struts, we hope to have all training done by the spring.

We like to thank John for his time and willingness to come continue the training, also our salesman Steve Miller for setting up the training.
