Engine 37-2 runs two calls in East Nottingham

While on standby in Oxford, Engine 37-2 was dispatched to assist EMS on a cardiac arrest in East Nottingham around 1426. While assisting them was giving a second call in the district for a chimney fire around 1450. Engine 37-2 cleared the EMS call and responded to the chimney fire along with Engine 33-5 from station 21 and 21 units which just cleared the fire in Lancaster.

Engine 37-2 arrived on scene confirming a working chimney fire and taking first due engine duties, Ladder 21 arrived and backed in drive to potion themselves for roof operations, Engine 33-5 picked up the line at end of drive and crews assisted on cleaning the chimney.

Chief 37 assumed Mount Pleasant command. 21 Engines arrived and assisted 33 & 37 crews with operations. The incident was placed under control at 1515 with units working,.

All units cleared the scene at 1537, Modena and Honeybrook then returned to their first due area’s.
