On March 15 at 4:51pm the Modena Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Avondale Fire Company on a working house fire in New Garden Township.

Engine 37-2 with four and Brush 37 responded to assist Avondale on the working house fire that had spread to the adjacent field. Brush 37 with a crew of two assisted crews from Kennett, Po-Mar-Lin, and Five Points in the field with fire suppression and containing the field fire.

Engine 37-2’s crew assist with overhaul and hitting hotspots on the house. Modena’s crews were on scene for a total of 2 hours.
