On August 14th at 4:06 pm was dispatched to assist Westwood on a house fire. Deputy 44 went responding and arrived on scene within seconds of responding and reported a working house fire and requested a second alarm. Engine 37-2 with a crew of 4 made the response along with Engine 37-1 (Squad 37) with a crew of two. Deputy 37 (Corle) arrived and deployed a handle line to division two for fire suppression. Engine 37-2 arrived on scene and took Third due engine assignment and went to work on division two. Assistant 37 (Bryant) took the man power pool. Engine 37-1 arrived and went to the manpower pool before assisting in the garage. Crews were on scene for two hours assisting.
