On Wednesday morning May 14, 2025 the Modena Fire Company had a surprise visit from one of our biggest supports Dave Turner Sr.

Today's visit was completely unprompted, while driving by with his grandson they seen the doors open and his grandson wanted to see the truck, During their visit they checked out all the trucks with and gear that the crews wear, his grandson was given a helmet and fire prevention football.

I'm sure from the photo's Dave needs no introduction and everyone recognizes him from the family's foundation "Dave's Drive 831", they have been one of the biggest supports of both fire company's that cover East Fallowfield.

It was great to see Dave in this next chapter of his life and one things for sure, one little boy has Pop Pop wrapped around his finger.
