| On Wednesday evening, February 18 at 2046 hours., the Modena Fire Company was dispatched to box 3708 in East Fallowfield Township for a reported car fire.
Engine 37 responded, shortly there after Ambulance 37 arrived and reported the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames next to a house, with the possibility of the fire extending to the building. Assistant 37 immediately upgraded the incident to a residential fire, bringing in additional mutual aid companies.
Engine 37 arrived and pulled a hose line quickly extinguish the fire. Ladder 41 and Engine 44-5 assisted by removing siding from the house to check for any fire extension. The response was soon reduced to two engines and one truck.
Engine 37 stayed on scene with county fire marshals during their investigation. All units cleared the area at 2238 hours. |
