On Tuesday evening at 6pm Ambulance 37-1 and its crew of EMS Lt. Perine, EMT Cornell, and Driver/FF Wallace made the short trip to Parksburg Fire Company for an ambulance standby.Ambulance 37-1 crews were joined by Rescue 35 out of Wagontown. Both Modena and Wagontown were there for the primary role to protect Parksburg Fire Companies community in the event there was an emergency.

Most of Parksburgs volunteers were on the fairgrounds running stands, Parksburg ambulance was there providing first aid in the event it was needed.

Modena and Wagontown crews enjoyed a dinner of delicious pizza, followed by making a short trip to the fairgrounds.

Ambulance 37-1 responded to one medical emergency in Valley Township during the evening. Once cleared from the call, crews went back to Parksburg station to sit around and chat with our Wagontown friends.

At 10pm Chief Stackhouse informed crews we were able to clear the standby and head back to our own communties.

Modena Fire Company would like to thank Parksburg Fire Company for their hospitality, and wish everyone a Happy 4th of July!
