On Thursday evening September 25, 2014 the Modena Fire Company was alerted at 2121 to the 2100 block of Strasburg Road in East Fallowfield Township for an auto accident.

Ambulance 37-1 and Deputy 37(Perine) made the response on scene for an SUV heavily damaged in the middle of the road that struck a telephone pole.

Medic 93 was alerted as well as fire police from both Modena and Westwood to close Strasburg between Ramsey and Doe Run Church Roads.

Engine 37-3, Squad 37 arrived and assisted EMS as well as controlled hazards around the vehicle. Traffic 37, and Traffic 44 took care of the road closer.

Deputy 37 made notification to Peco as the pole involved was split in two.

All unit cleared the scene at 2229.
