On Saturday morning November 15, 2014 members of the Modena Fire Company traveled to Brook Crossing development in East Fallowfield to assist Cub Scout Pack 16 with collection from residents giving to their food drive.

Pack leaders made rounds earlier in the week delivering yellow plastic bags and a letter about the event to residents of both Brook Crossing and Bradford Village.

The Fire Companies of East Fallowfield were asked to participate in collecting the foods Squad 37, and Ambulance 37-1 took the detail following the scout around the developments collecting the food and placing in the back of Squad 37 until the end then food was transferred to scout leaders cars.

The event was very successful and only took a hour out of our volunteers time, more importantly it gave the boy scout a sense of accomplishment and their efforts with help families in need here in Chester County.

The Modena Fire Company would like to thank the scout leader from allowing us to participate in this wonderful event.
