Accident Reported with Fire on Hephzibah Hill Road in Modena Borough

On Tuesday Evening December 9 2014 around 2030 hrs the Modena Fire Company was dispatched along with Rescue 44 and Medic 93 to a auto accident vehicle reported on fire on Hephzibah Hill Road in Modena Borough.

Modena crews were on station having just finished up a work detail and Engine 37-2 with 8 guys, Ambulance 37-1, and Ambulance 37-2 were out the door on dispatch. Followed a minute later with Engine 37-1 with 5 guys and Traffic 37.

Units arrived to find one car off the road into a large bolder NOT on fire, crews quickly assessed the scene and found the driver ok and out walking around, Chief 37 recalled Rescue 44 and Medic 93 and returned Engine 37-1 .

Engine crew controlled hazards as EMS evaluated the driver.

All Modena units cleared the scene a short time later.
