On Thursday Morning January 18th the Modena Fire Company was alerted to standby at station 36.

While sitting at 36 Engine 37-2 was alerted to assist Delco 59 on a building fire, while in route down Route 1 that assignment was recalled. Engine 37-2 was then redirected to fill tankers for the Kennett Fire.

Engine 37-2 arrived and set up a fill site, not a easy task as temps were around 5 degrees with a wide chill below 0, multiple tankers were filled up before Engine 37-2 was then redirected to standby at station 24.
