Late Night Car Fire Wraps Up Busy Day for the Brandywine Ave Express

Shortly after 2300 hours on Sunday March 29th the Modena Fire Company was alerted to fifth call of the day to the 1600 block of West Chester Road in East Fallowfield for a reported auto fire.

Chief Dowlin and captain Corle was first to arrive on scene reporting a Car with engine compartment well off. Engine 37-2 and Engine 37-1 both responded at the 4 minute make and arrived on scene quickly extinguishing the car fire. Ambulance 37-1 and Traffic 37 also made the response.

The operator reported driving along and seeing flames from the car before pulling over at the entrance of Providence Hill Development.

After cooling the car down crews turned the car over to Flings Towing before cleaning up and returning to station shortly after the mid-night hour.
