On Thursday evening April 16 2015 around 1850 the Modena Fire Company was alerted to assist the Westwood Fire Company on an reported barn fire on Weston Drive in East Fallowfield Township.

Moments after the first dispatch another dispatch went off reporting a possible brush fire at the East Fallowfield Park which happens to be across the street from Weston Drive.

Deputy 44 (Scott) arrived on scene reporting a shed well off, Engine 37-2 and Brush 37 made the response . Engine 44-5 took position on Weston Drive and stretched a line through the yard, Engine 37-2 took position in a neighbors drive way off Strasburg Road and also stretched a line, Brush 37 took position in the back yard of the neighbors house and started extinguishing the brush and yard that was burning.

Together crews work to quickly bring the fire under control shortly after their arrival.
