On Sunday June 21, 2015 the company traveled to the New Garden Airport to take part in the 9th Annual Chester County Balloon Festival.

This year the event was benefiting the Chester County hero Fund and ran from Friday to Sunday.

On Sunday some fire companies gathered together to parade up the runway with lights and sirens before stopping in front of the crowd of attendees opening up the compartment on the apparatus and allowing the kids and adults to see their equipment and ask questions to the firefighters.

Following the parade the Avondale Fire Company put on a vehicle rescue demonstration.

The event had lots of fun for the entire family, helicopter and airplane rides, RC airplane controlled Demo’s, food, hot air balloons, and scuba tank.

Fire Company’s in attendance Sunday were Avondale, Thorndale, Modena, and Chester County DES.
