Dual Ambulance Response to West Bradford for Accident with Entrapment

On Monday afternoon around 1730 hours the Modena Ambulance was dispatched to assist West Bradford on an auto accident in the 2400 block of West Chester Road in West Bradford Township.

Chief 39 and Ambulance 37-1 made the response and was advised by county radio they were upgrading the incident after receiving reports of entrapment, ambulance 37-2 then logged up and made the response as well.

Chief 39 arrived on scene with one down in the grass and confirming one trapped, Ambulance 37-1 arrived and made a quick assessment of both patients and then loaded the patient in the grass, Ambulance 37-2 arrived and with fire crews worked on accessing the patient entrapped in the car.

Rescue 38 and Rescue 39 worked together and removed the passenger side door of the vehicle and then assisted the patient to the stretcher and help load them into the ambulance.

Both Ambulances with Medic’s from Brandywine transported to a local trauma center.
