Ambulance Assist to Coatesville

Modena Fire Company Ambulance was alerted at 13:19 hours to assist Coatesville City Bureau of Fire with a report of a motor vehicle accident.

Ambulance 37-1 responded immediately and arrived on the scene at 13:22, to be directed to a patient who was confined in their vehicle after a “T-Bone” style accident.

Crews from the City Fire utilized the hydraulic rescue tools to remove the driver’s door of the vehicle and permit the EMS crew to establish spinal motion restriction, and perform an assessment of the patient.

The patient was removed from the vehicle and loaded into the ambulance. The Paramedic from Medic 93 completed an ALS assessment. The patient was transport to a local hospital for evaluation.

Washington Hose Company Ambulance also transported one patient to a local hospital with a medic unit.

Ambulance 37-1 returned available at 14:06.
