Car Fire in South Coatesville

On Saturday May 21 at 1405, the Modena Fire Company was dispatched to the area of Ash street in South Coatesville Borough for a reported car on fire.

Ambulance 37-1 was first to arrive on scene and gave a report of a vehicle well involved. Assistant 37 arrived right behind the Ambulance and established the Ash Street Command and also requested the Pennsylvania State Police to the scene to assist.

Engine 37-1 arrived moments later and deployed an 1' 3/4 hand line, Engine 37-2 arrived not far behind and assisted with extinguishing hot spots in the vehicle. The fire was placed under control and the County Fire Marshals were requested to the scene.

Once the Fire Marshal's conducted their investigation all 37 units went available at 1505
