Company Assist City on Working 2 Alarm Building Fire

On Wednesday June 15th 2016, The Modena Fire Company was alerted at 1233 for one engine to assist the Coatesville Fire Department on a building fire in the area of Rt 82 and Lincoln Highway.

Engine 43 was quick to arrive and upgrade the assignment to a working building fire, reporting fire on the roof with explosions. Modena was re-alerted now for the second engine for RIT.

Crews arrived on scene and went to working assisting on fire suppression and overhaul.

. A 2nd alarm was requested as well to assist with manpower.

Crews had heavy fire on the 3rd floor and roof with all occupants out of the building. Several hand lines were placed in service and the fire was under control a short time later.

After the fire was brought under control Modena engine's were sent to Station 41 were they stood by until 1630 before returning back to Modena.
