Working House Fire in City

On the morning of July 30, 2016 41/43 were dispatched for an unknown type fire that was quickly upgraded to a house fire due to another call reporting something on fire inside the house.

The upgrade add Station 37, 38 and 76, Ladder 41 went on scene with smoke showing. Engine 43-1 then arrived and laid into the scene from the hydrant and stretched and 1 3/4 hand line.

Engine 37-1 arrived on scene it crew assisted on fire suppression operations and overhaul, Engine 37-1 operator took over the pump on engine 43-1.

Ambulance 37-2 set up rehab along with city EMS.

Crews were able to make a quick knock on the fire and it was under control in less than 30 minutes.

38 units assisted on wrapping up the supply line before heading to station 41 to stand by.

41, 43, 37 units remained on scene until fire marshal finished their investigation.
