On Saturday September 10, 2016 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched at 1206 to assist the Coatesville Fire Department on a reported house fire on the 500 block of Olive Street.

Units were advised that caller reported fire in their dryer and were evacuating, police were on scene with smoke showing.

Engine 37-1 made the response at 1208 and was second on scene a minute behind Ladder 41-1, Engine 37-1 laid in from the hydrant and stretched a 1 ¾ to the rear of the structure. Engine 37-2 arrived on scene and its crew assisted engine 1.

Crews made a quick knock on the fire and began to open up and ventilate. County FM’s were alerted to investigate.

All units cleared the scene at 1326
