On Wednesday September 21, 2016 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched at 1905 to assist the Coatesville Fire Department on a building fire at the Coatesville Towers.

Coatesville had been alerted for and automatic fire alarm and arrived to find one of the floor charged with smoke, they then requested an upgrade to the building response.

Engine 37-1 made the response and arrived on scene its crew assisted city crew with opening up after the fire was knocked. City crew had found a kitchen on fire in apartment 402 prior Modena’s arrival.

The fire was put under control and all units cleared at 1944
