On January 11th, 2017 The Modena Fire Company was dispatched to the area of Lower Gap Road and S. First Avenue for an auto accident.

Battalion 37 (Corle) Ambulance 37-1 responded within minutes and were advised by the 911 center of a vehicle versus pole with 1 subject injured. Ambulance 37-1 arrived to confirm the report with everyone out of the vehicle. Battalion 37 arrived and held the assignment to the Ambulance and squad for traffic control.

37 units remained on the scene until the arrival of PSP Embreeville and continued to keep the road shut due to extreme icing as many of the roads throughout Chester County and until the arrival of the tow company.
