Company Supports St Baldrick's Event for Childhood Cancer

On Saturday April 8, 2017 eight members of the Modena EMS division attended an annual Co-ed Day at the Avondale Fire Company, throughout the morning multiple speakers covered multiple subjects.

Following the morning Co-Ed an event was held to raise money for St. Baldrick Foundation which support Childhood Cancer. Throughout the afternoon apparatus was on display including Brush 37, also throughout the afternoon people shaved their heads in support of childhood cancer.

Multiple raffles were done as well, to raise money, at the end of the day over $17,000 dollars was raised for the foundation.

The Modena Fire Company would like to thank event organizers for allowing us to be part of this special day, we look forward to next year.
