Today Friday May 19, 2017 at 16:31hrs Stations 41 and 43 along with Engine 76, Rescue 38, Engine 37 and 31 for RIT were dispatched to the 1100blk of Stirling St in Coatesville for the reported house fire.

Ladder 41 went responding first and were advised by the 911 Center they were getting multiple calls of thick black smoke coming from the 2nd and 3rd floor windows. Ladder 41 arrived first on scene and reported a 2 1/2 story twin with smoke showing from the 2nd floor. Crews stretched and 1 3/4 and made entry into the building.

All occupants were reported out of both sides of the twin however one dog was reported to be inside the fire building. As crews made their way to the 2nd floor they found the dog and were able to remove it without any injuries sustained to it.

Engine 37-1 arrived and took the rear of the structure and its crew assisted city crews with overhaul.

As further crews arrived they assisted with overhaul and placing a PPV fan in service to clear the smoke from the residence. The fire was under control in less than 15 minutes.
