On Sunday afternoon May 21, 2017 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched to a reported motorcycle accident in the 500 block of South 1st Ave.

Coatesville Fire Department was originally dispatched to the call which was reported in Coatesville at 1st Ave and Walnut. Battalion 37 (Corle) came upon the accident and change the location to a 37 local and had Coatesville unit continue in.

EMS treated the motorcyclist and transported him to a local trauma center.

Engine 37-1 crew controlled hazards and assisted the tow company loading the bike.

Traffic 37 closed the road throughout the incident.

All units cleared a short time later.
