On Saturday November 11, 2017 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched at 1426 to a reported dwelling fire at 1116 Wayne Ave in South Coatesville Borough.

Dispatched to assist was Ladder 41, Engine 38, Engine 76, Engine 44-5 and Ladder 49 (RIT)

Ambulance 37-1 arrived on scene reporting smoke showing from a 2 story middle of row, upon further investigation found fire in division 1 closet, the fire was knocked down by resident with smoke condition inside.

All units dispatched were in route with the exception of Engine 44-5, Deputy 37 arrived and held the assignment to Ladder 41-1 and Engine 37-1, crews set up for ventilation and awaited FM’s to investigate.

All units cleared the scene at 1524
