Fundraising
It is that time of year again our 2020 Ambulance fund drive is in full swing please help us help you.
|
The Modena Fire Company is a volunteer organization that relies on our Community to keep us operating. We do levy dedicated fire taxes from our residents, except for Modena and South Coatesville We do appriate thier extra help.
All of our operating expenses, such as electric bills, telephone bills, general maintenance, fuel for apparatus, Ins. and capital expenditures for things like new fire trucks of ambulances are generated by fundraising. We offer a few options for you to help support your volunteers.

We will hold chicken bar-b-q’s, and "boot days" in which you may see us at an intersection collecting donations.
The last sources of funding are our annual fund drives. Each year, we send out a notice for donations for the Fire division of the fire company to residents of Modena, South Coatesville, and the portions of Newlin, and West Marlborough as well as an Ambulance club to all municipalities witch we cover. The two fund drives are sent at different times of the year.
More information on each type of fund drive is provided below. Please remember that your donations can be used as a tax incentive at the end of each year.

The Fire fund drive for Modena, South Coatesville, and portions of East Fallowfield, Newlin, West Marlborough is sent to residents and businesses usually around July of each year.
Inside, you will find a newsletter with current information about the fire company, any upcoming events, and what we will use your donations for.
We realize that residents are often on a tight budget, and we offer different donation request amounts. You may also choose to enclose your own amount.
Simply return the donation using the envelope provided to you.
Sadly, only 10% of our residents return donations to us each year with the fund drive, providing us with around $3,000 to operate on.

Another fund drive sent out for the year 2020. This drive helps keep paid emt's on duty 24/7, also it is our working budget to maintain the 2 BLS ambulances.
Our Ambulance fund drive includes information on our local Ambulance service this drive is at the beginning of the year.
As a club member if you are in need of the ambulance service we except your third party’s insurance payment, as payment in full.
