By Fire Chief Frank Dowlin
April 9, 2022

On Saturday morning April 9, 2022 the Easter Bunny stopped by station 37 to catch a ride up to East Fallowfield Townships Easter Egg Hunt.

Peter Cotton Tail himself arrived at the station suppressing some of the members and their children and taking pictures with the crew before loading up in Brush 37 and heading to East Fallowfield Townships Park for their annual Easter egg hunt.

The Easter Bunny was quit surprised as he pulled into the park of the amazing turn out by the township residents, not sure of official count but had to be over 100+. Once at the park children lined up to take pictures with the Easter Bunny, later he rode in Brush 37 leading a parade around the park before the kids got to hunt 100's of eggs laid out in the parks grass.

Following the egg hunt the Easter Bunny continued to be a big hit with the kids and posing for more pictures, the Easter Bunny returned to station 37 on the Brush unit around noon.

We like to Thank East Fallowfield Township for the invite we had a great time and it was nice to see people getting out again.

During the event Engine 37-2 responded to help Westwood EMS who was asking for assistance just over the hill in their section of the township just proving that our job never stops not even for the Easter Bunny.

Units: Brush 37, Engine 37-2, Ambulance 37-1
