On February 11th 11:56am the Modena Fire Company was dispatched for a brush fire on Fairview road.
Chief 37 made the response and was advised by Chester that there was about a 1/4 acre on fire after a control burn. Engine 37-2 with a crew of four along with brush 37 right after dispatch as well. Chief 37 arrived with about 4 acres of and asked for two atvs and tanker to assist which brought 36 and 44. Engine 37-2 crew deployed a leader line along with a high rise bag. Engine 37-2 crew started working on containing the fire along with brush 37. Engine 37-1 crew got on scene and assisted 37-2 crew. Atv, utility and brush 36 along with atv 44 all assisted with containing the fire. Crews took down two trees. Crews operated for two and a half hours.
