On January 8th at 10:37 am the Modena Fire Company was alerted to assist Westwood Fire Company on a building fire. Engine 37 made the response with three. Assistant 37 (Bryant) arrived on location with nothing showing from the exterior. After entering the building crews found a small fire in the ceiling. Engine 37 arrived and assumed the second due engine assignment along with dropping a line from the closets hydrant. Crews spilt up and went to the roof to help with checking for extension.
